ROBERT M.L. BAKER III is the firm's owner and managing partner with offices located in Santa Monica, California . Mr. Baker specializes in the areas of trust and estate planning, trust administration, probate estate administration, along with conservatorship and guardianship administration, tax law, real estate law, elder law (including Medi-Cal planning) and litigation. He has lectured on these subjects and has authored articles in such periodicals as The Daily Journal. Mr. Baker attended the United States Naval Academy and later transferred to the University of California at Los Angeles where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics. He received his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law and his L.L.M. (Masters in Taxation Law) degree from Boston University . He is a member in good standing with the California State Bar and the Los Angeles County, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and South Bay Bar Associations, as well as numerous sections and committees within those organizations, such as Probate, Trust, and Litigation Law. Mr. Baker is also admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court. Among other professional pursuits, Mr. Baker held a teaching position at West Coast University where he taught classes in business law, taxation, and corporate finance.
